Build Log
From a pencil to a public record.
Not a résumé. A sequence. The work kept a rule, then a cast, then a scale large enough to need rooms.
01
Age 9
A pencil
The record opens with graphite. Not a brand, not a pitch. A hand learning what a face can do if you let the proportion misbehave.
02
The rule
The neck stays
An accident of drawing repeats until it is policy. The long neck becomes how this house recognizes its own work across years and materials.
03
The cast
Ladies, plural
One study becomes three, then a company of women. Color arrives as personality. The archive stops being a sketchbook and starts being a world with citizens.
04
Scale
Cover language
The work tries on the grammar of a newsstand. Not to counterfeit a magazine, but to see if a drawing from a child’s desk can hold a cover’s confidence.
05
Pressure
The grid
LNL PPP repeats a face until repetition either ruins it or proves it. The signature holds. That is the test the archive still uses.
06
The sentence
Black is Beautiful
A room with the color removed and the claim left standing. Crown light. No apology in the contrast. Beauty filed as fact, not as a request.
07
Night
Adira arrives
Fashion learns the hour. Adira X Cadillac Black Future turns the car into a stage. The record picks up cinematic timing: entrances, metal, the pleasure of not explaining.
08
Gloss
Lady V
Pink is allowed to be structure. Play is allowed to be exact. The castle is fake in the way a set is fake, which is to say it is doing a job.
09
The floor
Station opens
Dinosaurs on all fours, gadgets in the pastel, a workshop that refuses a straight line. The builder shows up inside the artist’s ledger.
10
Now
The archive is public
A living record, not a closed catalog. What happens next is filed under Next. The pencil is still the origin. It is no longer the limit.
The next marks are not written yet.
